SESSION 1: Expedition: Florida! July 20-24 

Calling all history explorers! Traverse Florida’s rugged past with fun, hands-on learning in archaeology, ecology, and culture. Meet Florida’s innovative Native peoples and brave Gainesville pioneers.

SESSION 2: Florida Time Travelers July 27-31 

Hop in the time machine and see your state with new eyes. Hands-on educational crafts and activities will take you back to the creatures of Florida’s prehistoric past, through Indigenous and American history, up to today. Find out how we know what we know about the past through Florida’s fascinating archaeology.

Details:

  • Open to campers ages 8-12
  • Each camp runs Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
  • Cost – $250 per camp
  • We ask that each camper please bring a daily packed lunch. Snacks are provided.
  • Campers are welcome to sign up for both sessions
